Getting Started Guide | Mining Ops
Mining Ops is a free, browser-based Star Citizen mining tool designed for coordinated mining crews. This comprehensive guide walks you through every step of creating a mining session, inviting your crew, managing refinery work orders with live countdown timers, and splitting aUEC profits automatically. No download, no account, and no spreadsheet required.
How to Use Mining Ops — Step by Step
Step 1: Open Mining Ops in Your Browser
Navigate to mining.getallsky.net in any modern web browser. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari are all supported. The app loads instantly with no installation. Because Mining Ops is a progressive web app, you can even add it to your home screen for quick access during long mining sessions in Star Citizen.
Step 2: Create a Mining Session
Click the Create Session button on the landing page. Enter your Star Citizen callsign and your ship name. Popular mining ships include the Argo Mole, RSI Prospector, and Greycat ROC. Click Start to create the session. You will instantly receive a unique 6-character join code such as AB3X9Z.
Step 3: Invite Your Crew
Share the 6-character join code with your mining crew through Discord, in-game chat, or voice comms. Each crew member opens Mining Ops, clicks Join Session, enters the code, and provides their own callsign and ship. They appear in the crew panel instantly for everyone in the session. There is no limit to how many crew members can join.
Step 4: Submit Refinery Work Orders
After you have mined quantanium, agricium, bexalite, or any other ore, head to a refinery and note your work order details. In Mining Ops, open the Work Orders tab or press N on your keyboard. Choose the ore type, select the refinery location from the supported list, pick a refining method, and enter the duration in minutes. Submit the work order and a live countdown timer appears for all crew members. When the timer reaches zero, the card turns green so nobody misses the pickup window.
Step 5: Split aUEC Profits Fairly
Once your cargo is sold and you have the total aUEC payout, open the Profit tab or press P. Enter the total amount, select the active crew members who participated in the run, and optionally adjust share weights. For example, you might give the main miner a 1.5x weight while escorts receive 1.0x. Mining Ops calculates each cut instantly and broadcasts the results to the whole crew. No spreadsheet required.
Supported Star Citizen Refineries
Mining Ops supports every major refinery in Star Citizen. In Stanton: ARC-L1, CRU-L1, MIC-L1, HUR-L1, OL-L1, Seraphim Station, and Lantea. In Pyro: Pyro-Ryder and Demen. In Nyx: Echo-Ryder. Refinery yield data is sourced from UEX and updated daily so you always know which location gives the best return for your quantanium and agricium.
